A Call for Umpires
We are considering creating a pool of umpires like Sacramento MSBL has successfully implemented to supplement our existing umpires. We have noticed that when a league member umpires, there is less controversy with the calls and the atmosphere is more relaxed. The pool would consist of TVMSBL league members, and even their family and friends. The league would provide umpire training at no cost. Ideally, we are looking for at least 24 umpires to get TVMSBL assignments covered. Your training will prepare you for outside opportunities and will include a customized "TVMSBL Umpire” shirt. The pay would be about $100/game, depending on age division umpired, and the number of umpires working the game. Our umpire pool will be compensated the week following their game(s).  Please submit a message at the bottom of this page to let us know your interest!
