Mark Stas Passing

Mark passed away on May 13th after his bladder cancer returned in a fast moving and aggressive form.  It happened rather suddenly and has been absolutely devastating for his family and friends.  

A gifted athlete, Mark excelled at many sports and baseball was no exception.  In the field, on the mound or at the plate, he was consistently excellent.  Mark was not a demonstrative guy and didn't like to call attention to himself.  Instead, he led by example.  He took pride in his play yet he was always humble.  He was slow to criticize, but quick to encourage and support.  

Speaking for everyone who ever had the honor and privilege to play with Mark, you couldn't find a better teammate.  He will be sorely missed by all that knew him!   His family is asking that in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity Mark valued:  https://www.stormforgedalliance.com/donate
